in search for this JDM front for my Lex IS. Just attained the JDM rear bumper with the TRD Neo rear lip. JDM fenders with the sidemarker cutout have been bought and on it’s way from overseas. Having a difficult time finding the front in great shape for a “decent” price. I’m patient, but not willing to heavily pay for it.
Love it. So simple, nothing overly aggressive either, plus OEM is always a plus. I’ve always been a TRD fan with all the Toyotas I’ve owned.
Man, once I finish with my IS, hope to have it sitting like this, well not that much camber. lol

Yeah, they’re slow, but damn, they looked pretty damn good in my opinion! Then again, I’m bias because I owned one before. 7th generation Celicas are underrated in my opinion, especially the GT-S. Fools still don’t give the 2zz-ge a break…

Overall, it was a pretty good turnout! It wasn’t too crowded and not to overwhelming either. It was nice enough to walk around and hangout with some friends. I mentioned it wasn’t overwhelming, but there were tons of 2nd gen IS’ along with hella IS-Fs. I even witnessed a SC spin out and hit the wall on the 1/8th track. Didn’t get it on video, but did get the aftermath on camera.
Met some cool folks too! Made new friends and called it a day!
My girlfriend’s sister was there and won some Eibach springs. lol Pretty shocking since she *cough* found *cough* the raffle ticket on the ground.

I always like the aftermarket dual exhaust setups for the 2nd gens. Shit just looks aggressive as hell…
but there are exceptions. I kinda like this color, it’s looking rather clean too, and not too bright or an orange.

I see too many broke down AE86’s with nice wheels around my way. Rusted, fucked up bumpers, yet they think they’re nice wheels can compensate for the over all look of the car.
The subtle fact of this one being clean makes me want to have one. I rarely see nice AE86’s on the road, other then seeing them at actual shows.
Just the sight of seeing one in great condition makes me appreciate this car…
One of the downfalls when I owned a 7th gen Toyota Celica was this commercial with the motto “Looks Fast” It was a butt of all jokes when people clowned on how slow the car was…
Yet ignorance is bliss, little did they know the potential the 2zz-ge had. Not to mention how fun the Lotus Elise would be when rocking this motor…
The ad campaign for the TRD bodykit dubbed the “Action Package” for the Celica was indeed funny though…

Yeah, I can’t stop saying the fact that I miss mine. I admit, the IS300/Altezza I have now is a rather boring sedan. I don’t think I’ll ever be completely content with my current car until I convince myself one day in swapping in a 2jz-GTE.
