It’s Game 7 NBA FANS! The series can’t get any better than this! I see the Lakers putting in another pounding tonight like they did Game 6. I’ll leave it at that. If I’m wrong, shoot me… lol

I’ll be quiet for now, I’ll talk my shit if and when the Lakers win… Enjoy the game tonight folks!

NBA Finals Game 6: The Boston Celtics vs The Los Angeles Lakers

Tonight is the night, tonight is Game 6 between the Boston Celtics vs the Los Angeles Lakers.

Laker fans, it’s DO OR DIE for our Los Angeles Lakers! I just hope they pull it together, I’d like to remain confident and positive, but this shit is nerve racking. Yes, I’m worried. lol

All I have to say is the Lakers need to get their defense going! Not to mention, they need to get on their defensive and offensive rebound going too. They’re getting killed on the boards and they’re giving the Celtics way too many second chances.

Also, Kobe Bryant is human! He can’t do it himself! The rest of the Lakers need to step up and help their fellow leader out! They can’t be just sitting there doing nothing, like they did in Game 5.

Too much shit to vent about this team, but I’ll leave it up to them to redeem themselves tonight.

LET’S GO

LAKERS!!!

Let’s save our season tonight!!!

NBA Finals Game 2: The Boston Celtics vs The Los Angeles Lakers

Posted in Sports with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 6, 2010 by prolifik1

Tonight is Game 2 of the NBA Finals at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Lakers lead the series 1-0. The Lakers did an impressive job Thursday night in attaining the win. They sent a message out to the Celtics that they’re not the same team that they were back in 2008. Can they repeat their performance from Game 1?

The next few wins won’t come easy. It’s still early in the series. The Lakers have to keep doing what worked for them in Game 1. The Boston Celtics, surprisingly looked timid and weak out there. Everything has been flipped this time around. Even Pau Gasol, who was dubbed back in the 08 series as Pau “Gasoft” has definitely stepped up his game and did a fantastic job against Kevin Garnett.

Will the Lakers continue to run of Gasol-ine as Bryant lights it up? Tune in tonight at 5:00pm Pacific.

NBA Finals: Lakers – One Game Down, Three More to Go!

Posted in Sports with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 3, 2010 by prolifik1

The Lakers take Game 1 of the NBA Finals. The Lakers cruised tonight to a win, which was lead by Kobe Bryant who scored 30 points along with 6 assists. It was great to see him send a message to the Boston Celtics that he’s taking this series seriously by shooting a 3 pointer just before the game ended. Putting an exclamation point on the win tonight!

Pau Gasol also showed great support by scoring 23 points along with 14 rebounds! Last but not least, Ron Artest has shown that he’s hungry for a ring. He ended the night with 15 points, which included three 3pointers.

This win went smoothly, but the next three will not come easy. There are still three games in Boston. Game 2 is on Sunday at 5:00pm Pacific/8:00pm Eastern.

Three more games Lakers fans!

NBA Finals Game 1: The Boston Celtics vs The Los Angeles Lakers

Ah, yes, NBA post season is great! What’s even greater, the NBA Finals! It’s been a long journey for both of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. Everyone assumed it would be Lebron and the Cavaliers, but once again, they failed. Trying too hard? Perhaps, but that’s another story.

It’s an old school rivalry renewed. It’s a rematch of the 2008 NBA Finals where the Boston Celtics took out the Lakers in 6 games. With the rivalry sparked up once again, it’s an opportunity for the Lakers to avenge their Finals lost this time around. The mindset is there, all of us LA fans want to witness it. With the reality of this season being the last for Phil Jackson with the Lakers, it’s one push for a ring that we all would want to see.

Tonight is the night! Game 1 of the NBA Finals at the Staples Center in Los Angeles!

WCF: Game Five Down – RON ARTEST WITH THE GAME WINNER!!!

Posted in Sports with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 27, 2010 by prolifik1

RON ARTEST FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Words can’t express how I feel right now, that was so damn close! Ron Artest redeems himself with the winning shot. Artest made a mistake earlier in the game by shooting an unnecessary 3 pointer after having the game clock resetted. He received slack obviously for such a poor decision, but saves the day for the Lakers at the end.

All Laker fans are embracing in a sigh of relief tonight! The Lakers have pulled off a win at the Staples Center! What a way to compliment the perfect weather that we have here in Los Angeles. They pull off the win, but it was pretty damn close within the closing!

To be honest, it had me quite nevrous. Despite the win, there was no answer on stopping Steve Nash! Nash was on point with his scoring and assists. Nash was a beast! No matter who was on him, he managed to get his shots in.

Kobe Bryant finished the night with a near double double, scoring 30 points with 9 assists. Lamar Odom lead the team for tonight with 13 rebounds. Artest finished the night with only 4 points and 5 rebounds, regardless of his performance, he is definitely the hero of the game!

Off to Phoenix we go for Game 6 on Saturday!

Game Time: The Phoenix Suns vs The Los Angeles Lakers – Game 5

Posted in Sports with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 27, 2010 by prolifik1

It’s that time again folks! It’s Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Finals between the visiting, Phoenix Suns vs the Los Angeles Lakers. The series is now tied up at an exciting 2-2! The Suns zone defense was the key into winning the last two games in Phoenix. I’ve had some angry Laker fans get pretty offended when I used the title in my last blog entry, saying the Lakers got “shutdown.” Well, reality check, Laker fans, they still lost both games!  As an angry Laker fan, I cringed watching Game 4! I couldn’t bare watching it anymore. Regardless of having better shooting stats, it still wasn’t enough to steal a game in Phoenix.

It’s okay though, I hope and any other Laker fan hopes that they take it tonight. We figure, since they’re at home, it should be easy right? Wrong! The momentum has shifted towards. The Lakers have to put a stop to their zone defense and figure out a work around to get the ball in the basket. Kobe with a hot hand has proven that even that isn’t enough. He’s no MJ, he needs the supporting cast to step up as well.

The key for the Lakers tonight is defense. The Lakers did fine offensively in my opinion back in Phoenix, but they gave up too many easy shots for the Suns. Great defense and crashing the boards is what the Lakers need to prevent the Suns from scoring tonight. Despite being at home, they shouldn’t take a chance with the way Phoenix was on fire in Game 5.

I don’t know about you Laker fans, but I for one am worried. They need to take tonight’s game or face the pressure of elimination once they head back to Phoenix for Game 6. With the Eastern Conference Finals, the Magic come up on another game lastnight, which leaves the series at 3-2 with Boston leading by only one game! If the Magic pull off some sort of miracle and take the series, that would be an NBA first!
