Kicks Preview: Air Jordan 2011

Posted in Kicks with tags , , , , , , , , on December 13, 2010 by prolifik1

It’s that time again! Jordan Brand brings a new signature Jordan shoe for 2011. I certainly have mixed thoughts.  I wasn’t quite fond of the 2010’s.  I believe they should preserve the legacy and have stopped at the XX3’s.

Retros is where it’s at Nike/Jordan Brand!  I feel they should just concentrate on that.   This looks more of a Team Jordan shoe version of the XI’s.  Anyone tend to agree?

Retro: Michael Jordan – “Failure” Air Jordan Commercial

I won’t get into it, but this could be inspiration for many! Maybe that big attention whore could of learned something since he wanted to be like MJ.

This shit speaks truth!

Jordan 2010 Fall Winterized Spizike

I stopped collecting Jordans for a good few years. It was a childhood obsession, but to me, they’ve fallen off for the most part. Sorry Mike, you’re one of my favorite players, but the brand has gone to shit.

Onto better things though, there are a few models and colorways that often saves this brand. Maybe it’s just me? Maybe my taste in Nike shoes in general have changed, or maybe I finally just matured and realized shoes isn’t everything. It’s just a hobby…

Anyways, these Spizikes are on point! I’m definitely feeling those black/anthracite ones. The dark cinder/black ones aren’t bad either!

For the Fall 2010 season, Jordan Brand welcomes its Winterized Spizike, decked out for the cold Winter months and offered in a couple of solid, fashionable colorways. Both a dark cinder/black and black/anthracite kicks off the upcoming season, each featuring premium leather/suede uppers with durable, rugged outsoles, while still retaining that classic aura of the Air Jordan look. A release can be expected in September 2010 through finer Jordan Brand stockists.

Throwback Thursday: Air Jordan XI Commercial

Man, I remember getting these back in highschool during my sophomore year. It was 1995 and I was enjoying seeing my favorite player back from retirement along with revenge in mind after a previous season loss in the hands of the Orlando Magic.

I witness MJ and the Bulls cause ruckus with the Chicago Bulls in their run for a 4th NBA title along with their second 3-peat run.

Here’s the Air Jordan XI Concord commercial

Remember, the Nike Air Jordan XI Anniversary Edition drops this Saturday at selected Jordan retailers!

Air Jordan 11 Silver 25th Anniversary

The Air Jordan XI 25th Silver Anniversary edition is probably one of the most anticipated Air Jordan releases this year! With a simple twist of the OG XI Columbias colorway; we are left with an all white XI, no jumpman, with subtle hints of silver such as in the heel tab. Not only that, we’re also given clear clean soles which is usually a tough task to keep fresh!

They are expected to release as a quickstrike on May 1, 2010. Prepare yourselves for the biggest hype of the year.

As for me, it looks tempting, but these would end up looking like shit after a few wear sessions. All white J’s in the summer time? Heat, daily wear sessions would just equate to shitty yellow XI’s by the end of August.

Nike Air Jordan III Silver Anniversary Edition and AJKO

Posted in Kicks, Sports with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on March 25, 2010 by prolifik1

It’s that time again, the third series of the Air Jordan 25th Silver Anniversary line will be set to release this Saturday, March 27, 2010. It’s the Air Jordan III sporting the all white colorway with silver trimming. Decked out in white leather along with light grey elephant print. Price is $159.99

Also set to release this Saturday, is the long awaited AJKO retro.  These were probably the most rarest Air Jordan out there. Finding an OG pair in near or deadstock condition is tough! I think we had better luck winning the lottery than finding a pair. The wait is over though! They’re finally being retro’d even with added wear and tear on the soles (which I hate by the way, damn you Nike!) Price of the AJKO is $125, but you can pre-order them from my OG online SoCal shoe spot, Shoetrends, for $110 (White/Red only).

All three can be purchased at all UNDFTD retail stores along with other participating Jordan retailers.
