Bavarian Beast Causing Drama

Saw the homie Freddy post this up on Facebook. Apparently, it received mixed reactions.

On the other hand, in my opinion, I like it, but I too can deal without the ugly ass paintings.  I don’t know what it’s suppose to be, but I do see graff influence.  It simply looks like a naked female Avatar. LOL…

FTW? Pretty much… Haters are going to hate, the praisers will continue praising it. At the end of the day, they got everybody talking about it… Mission accomplished.

I have an appreciation for great photography. If it looks good, then it definitely gets a thumbs up from me.

This E92 M sedan looks dope in this photo! So subtle, yet hella stands out. The whole composition works for me…

First US Spec Frozen Grey BMW E92 M3 (#1 of 30)

The first Frozen Grey BMW M3 which only 30 have been produced for the United States, was delivered to the US and awaits its new owner at Steve Thomas BMW in Camarillo, California. According to the Mfest forums, the customer, whose name won’t be disclosed, will be recieving number 1 of 30 for being a long time BMW loyalists. It’s been said this customer has owned every M car that BMW has ever produced.

This Frozen Grey E92 M will be going into his collection once he gets back from vacation. Until now, this E92 will be in the showroom floor of Steven Thomas BMW of Camarillo, CA.

The 30 owners of BMW’s matte-finish Frozen Gray M3 coupe are reportedly being required to sign an agreement acknowledging that they won’t hold the company responsible if they screw up their car’s paint. No agreement, no car.

Paint care via Bimmerfest Forums:

Never polish or wax the frozen gray paint as it could lead to a glossy surface.
If washing your frozen gray M3 in a automatic car wash, choose a car wash that does not apply vehicle wax. Rinse the M3 with high pressure water to remove dirt before sending it through the automatic car wash to avoid scratches from sand, dust and other micro-particles.
Remove bugs, bird poo, tree sap, tar, fuel spills or oil immediately using a soft sponge.
Avoid strong rubbing  while cleaning the frozen paint. BMW sells suitable products for maintaining the frozen paint at your local dealer.
Repairs to the paint (scratches, dents, etching) must be completed by a BMW-trained body shop. Most auto body shops will not be capable of repairing the frozen gray paint.

The agreement also explicitly states that the warranty does not cover your paint if it is damaged as a result of negligence, lack of maintenance or proper care, environmental damage, or improper repairs.

Damn, seems like too much of hassle to maintain that car. Atleast this collector won’t be driving his, from what I assume. With that in mind, you will know it would remain in pristine condition. I also give him props for being rich as fuck in being able to be a BMW loyalists, or in simpler terms, a fanboy.

Car is dope though, but I like to drive my cars! If I ever owned this, it probably won’t last due to the special car instructions it requires to maintain its matte finish. lol
