Air Jordan 2011 Black/Black

Posted in Fashion, Sneakers with tags , , , , , , , , on February 1, 2011 by prolifik1

Kinda hard for me to like these. Though it looks a lot better in this colorway than the previous colors posted a while back. They should of made it literally all black (make the inner tongue and that ugly mesh on the side black).

These are kinda growing on me, but I still wouldn’t cop at retail. lol Nike outlet for sure…

Dope Chicks With Dope Kicks: XIII

Posted in Girls, Kicks with tags , , , , , , , on January 12, 2011 by prolifik1

Yeah, gotta love hipsters these days. I mean back in the day in the 80’s and 90’s it was quite rare to see chicks with any type of J’s.  Yeah, Jordans are played in my opinion since Jordan Brand is making a killing in retros, but the plus side to it all; females have become instant shoeheads (hypebeasts, hipisters, or whatever you want to call them!)

Classic Bulls jacket to accompany the AJ XIII retros… This doesn’t need a NSFW banner… lol

Kicks Preview: Air Jordan 2011

Posted in Kicks with tags , , , , , , , , on December 13, 2010 by prolifik1

It’s that time again! Jordan Brand brings a new signature Jordan shoe for 2011. I certainly have mixed thoughts.  I wasn’t quite fond of the 2010’s.  I believe they should preserve the legacy and have stopped at the XX3’s.

Retros is where it’s at Nike/Jordan Brand!  I feel they should just concentrate on that.   This looks more of a Team Jordan shoe version of the XI’s.  Anyone tend to agree?

Air Jordan CMFT Max Air 12

Posted in Sneakers with tags , , , , , , , , , , on October 1, 2010 by prolifik1

Jordan Brand comes through once again with their CFMT series. This time, they take the classic Air Jordan XII and cross it with a classic Air Max shoe.

The result? An interesting hybrid of classiickness! It’s great to see this since Jordan Brand has been falling off the last few years of flooding the markets with retros in my opinion. This is sure a fresh of breath air and its something for former sneaker enthusiasts like me to actually appreciate these days.

These are set to release on  November 6th, 2010 for a retail price of $135 USD.  More colorways are supposedly going to follow after its release.

Air Jordan XIII Retro Premio Bin 23

Posted in Fashion, Kicks with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on August 19, 2010 by prolifik1

Here’s another Air Jordan XIII Retro on its Luxury steez under the Premio Bin 23 Line. Notice, the continue use of the wax style stamp on the tongue as seen on other models under the Premio Bin 23 series.

I have to admit, Jordan Brand has gone down hill, but this color is pretty damn dope. I’m feeling it! The XIII’s are one of my favorite Air Jordans of all time. The Flints of course!

These are slated to drop this Saturday, August 21, 2010 at selected Jordan Brand accounts.

Retro: Michael Jordan – “Failure” Air Jordan Commercial

I won’t get into it, but this could be inspiration for many! Maybe that big attention whore could of learned something since he wanted to be like MJ.

This shit speaks truth!

Jordan 2010 Fall Winterized Spizike

Posted in Fashion, Sneakers with tags , , , , , , , , , , on June 29, 2010 by prolifik1

I stopped collecting Jordans for a good few years. It was a childhood obsession, but to me, they’ve fallen off for the most part. Sorry Mike, you’re one of my favorite players, but the brand has gone to shit.

Onto better things though, there are a few models and colorways that often saves this brand. Maybe it’s just me? Maybe my taste in Nike shoes in general have changed, or maybe I finally just matured and realized shoes isn’t everything. It’s just a hobby…

Anyways, these Spizikes are on point! I’m definitely feeling those black/anthracite ones. The dark cinder/black ones aren’t bad either!

For the Fall 2010 season, Jordan Brand welcomes its Winterized Spizike, decked out for the cold Winter months and offered in a couple of solid, fashionable colorways. Both a dark cinder/black and black/anthracite kicks off the upcoming season, each featuring premium leather/suede uppers with durable, rugged outsoles, while still retaining that classic aura of the Air Jordan look. A release can be expected in September 2010 through finer Jordan Brand stockists.

Throwback Thursday: Air Jordan XI Commercial

Man, I remember getting these back in highschool during my sophomore year. It was 1995 and I was enjoying seeing my favorite player back from retirement along with revenge in mind after a previous season loss in the hands of the Orlando Magic.

I witness MJ and the Bulls cause ruckus with the Chicago Bulls in their run for a 4th NBA title along with their second 3-peat run.

Here’s the Air Jordan XI Concord commercial

Remember, the Nike Air Jordan XI Anniversary Edition drops this Saturday at selected Jordan retailers!

Air Jordan 11 Silver 25th Anniversary

Nike Air Jordan II Silver Aniversary Edition

Posted in Fashion, Kicks with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on February 23, 2010 by prolifik1

It’s crazy how time flies! Nike/Jordan Brand is celebrating Michael Jordan’s 25th anniversary of his entrance into the NBA. This goes way back, this is obviously to commemorate the whole Air Jordan line too! Last month, we had the silver anniversary I’s. Now, the Air Jordan II Silver Anniversary Edition will be dropping this Saturday, February 27, 2010.  This sneaker comes laced in crisp white leather along with (3M reflective) silver accents. This will be available at all UNDFTD stores along with other selected Jordan retailers. Price is $129.99.

Real talk, this would of been hot if they actually put some work into these shoes by using Italian leather like the og II’s! C’mon JB, put some more effort into these retros. It’s been disappointing for the past 6-7 years.

The Air Jordan White Cement III’s are being retro-ed once again. As a former avid Jordan collector, instead of seeing my deadstock shoes go to waste; thought that it was time to bust them out….

for some quick photos. 🙂

These are the Cement III’s from 2003. Yes, they still look fresh!

I still have a beater pair that I wear proudly, so no need to wear them just yet. Probably will be kept aside for Prolifik One Jr. one day.

😉 Stay fresh my friends!
